Sigiriya, located in the Matale district of Sri Lanka, is a magnificent monument that showcases the country's rich history to the world. It was used as a palace and fortress by King Kassapa, who ruled in the 5th century (477 - 495 AD).

•Artistry: The world-famous Sigiriya frescoes and the beautiful Mirror Wall are the identity of Sigiriya.
• Technology: The water gardens and garden art at the foot of the mountain demonstrate the advanced technology of the time.
•Architecture: The palace was built on a huge rock and its entrance in the shape of a lion, which gave it the name "Sinhagiriya".
Sigiriya, which has been designated a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, is also known by many as the eighth wonder of the world. It is a unique monument that combines Sri Lankan irrigation technology, architecture, and painting.
