One of my favorite things to do is travel, which gives me a different feeling. Sri Lanka is a country with the most beautiful nature in the world. It is a country with different ethnicities, different climates, different cultures, different foods, and different animals. We were taught in our childhood that this is the pearl of the Indian Ocean.  Even from other countries, people come to visit our country to experience the natural beauty here.  The happiness we get through traveling calms our minds. The mountain ranges, the Sripadaya, the beaches, coral reefs, temples, and the Temple of the Tooth are some of the  special  places we encounter while traveling in my country.

 In the modern world, the closest friend we all have is a smart mobile phone. My mobile phone is my best friend that facilitates my daily activities. It is the main way for me to connect with the world. I use my phone to find out information I do not know for educational activities. It allows me to talk to and see my dear friends. My phone helps me find information and pictures needed for school work via the internet.        During leisure time, I use it to listen to beautiful songs and watch relaxing videos. Through my phone, I have gotten the opportunity to learn new things and progress in languages. I enjoy using its camera to capture unforgettable memories in my life.  My birthday is a memorable day in my life. My 22nd birthday celebration was on May 14, 2025. I was 22 years old that day. That day was a beautiful and memorable day in my life. That evening, my family, relatives, and friends had planned a birthday party for me. I received a beautiful cake and many beautiful gifts.  My favorite gift was a small birthday card.
